Amaze Health works with employers to empower their employees (and employees’ families) with the knowledge, information, self-confidence and support to manage their own healthcare. Amaze is built on a foundation of research that clearly says people with greater knowledge, skill a and confidence about medical care get better care and spend less money on it.
Amaze’s mobile technology platform provides people with access to telemedicine, educational resources, medical research resources, and the tools to find, access and organize all things related to their medical care.
Amaze was founded by a team of medical and public policy experts who are deep vested in their mission to change the American healthcare system to one that truly puts patients first.
Candidates need to be in appropriate areas of study, having recently graduated or entering their senior year of college (by credits). Each candidate will have a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and will affirm their preparedness to spend a minimum of 20 hours per week learning and doing research topics assigned by their Amaze mentor. Topics will be assigned, to the maximum extent possible, on the basis of each participant’s personal interest.
All participants must have a Microsoft O365 account. Lessons and collaboration will be managed via Microsoft Teams.
Participants must plan to be available from 10 AM to 12 PM eastern time Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for organized, live lessons (delivered virtually). Approximately four hours per day will be expected of each participant. Certificates of a successfully completed internship will be delivered upon successful completion of the program. Schedule exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis, especially if your university classes begin before conclusion of the program.
