Symptoms include narrowing of the airways, difficulty breathing, pain or tightness in the chest, coughing, and wheezing. Treatment can include inhalers, oral steroids, and nebulizers. If you have never been diagnosed with asthma before or require follow-up with a local provider who can administer more hands-on care, we will provide you with a referral. Asthma can lead to live-threatening situations and we will direct you to emergency care when necessary.

We treat a wide variety of dental complaints such as gum inflammation, tooth infection, and dental abscesses. We understand the limitations of visiting a dentist during this time and can provide support by prescribing antibiotics (if warranted) and non-narcotic pain control related to dental discomfort. Our team includes a board-certified dentist that can review your case and discuss further treatment options if needed. We also offer assistance in finding a local dentist for follow-up and will work on your behalf to find the best pricing available. ,

Symptoms vary depending on the cause but can include hearing issues, vertigo, dizziness, ear aches, fever, feeling of ear fullness, crackling or swishing sounds. Treatment can include antibiotics depending on the cause, pain reducers or NSAIDs, medicated ear drops or decongestants.  While most ear problems can be diagnosed virtually, sometimes we’ll need to refer you for further examination by a local provider who can look in your ears.

Usually, high blood pressure does not cause any symptoms (which is why it can be dangerous), but severe or long-standing hypertension may cause headaches; fatigue; confusion; vision problems; chest pain; difficulty breathing; irregular heartbeat; or pounding in your chest, neck, or ears. Treatment includes dietary and lifestyle changes, and/or medications to control blood pressure. If you are high-risk or have other medical problems, you may be referred to an in-person specialist who can do further testing.

Symptoms include itching, swelling, redness, rash, and/or pain in the affected area or in the muscles. Treatment can depend on the severity of the bite and your reaction to it, but may include creams to stop itching and reduce swelling, antihistamines, and pain reducers such as acetaminophen. 

Symptoms include pain, swelling, and decreased movement of the affected joint(s). Treatment can include NSAIDs, changes in diet and lifestyle, and/or exercises and physical therapy to reduce pain and increase muscle strength to support the joints.

We can treat injuries such as sprains, bruises, insect bites, burns, and cuts. We can evaluate them through pictures and/or video and help you find a nearby facility if the injury is too severe to treat virtually.

Amaze is not currently prescribing controlled medications for the purposes of pain management, anxiety, depression, or attention deficit disorders. We recommend local primary care providers and psychiatrists who can see you in person and carefully manage the risk of addiction for these purposes. Amaze is happy to work with you to understand the type of provider that might be most suitable for your situation and find you a local provider that is accepting new patients.

Symptoms include redness and swelling in the white of the eye or inner eyelid, more tears than usual, discharge that crusts over the eyelashes (especially after sleep), and itchy or burning eyes. Treatment can include lubricating, antibiotic, or anti-allergy eye drops or ointment depending on the cause and severity.

Shingles is a viral infection that causes a painful rash, often appearing as a single stripe of blisters on the torso, though it can appear in many other ways.

While not generally life-threatening, shingles can be extremely painful. There are vaccines available and early treatment can mitigate the symptoms while reducing the risk of other complications.

Symptoms include pain in the nasal area; headache; congestion; mucus production; and a feeling of fullness behind the eyes, nose, and/or cheek area. Treatment can vary depending on cause but can include antihistamines and nasal sprays, and antibiotics for true sinus infections.

Symptoms can include nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, painful swallowing, and cough. Treatment can include pain relievers, antihistamines, decongestants, mucus-thinning agents, anti-inflammatories, and occasionally antibiotics.

Symptoms can include changes in vaginal discharge, odor, itching, burning, and possibly pain. Treatment can depend on the cause but may include topical creams, oral antibiotics, and lifestyle and diet changes.
